Club Membership and Dues

Prospective members may apply by obtaining an application from a member of the board or by visiting our website at  Lexingtonyachtclub.com.  Prospective members must attend at least one club event prior to applying and being nominated for membership.  After an application has been presented, the Board of Governors will determine if applicant has met the criteria for membership.  Initiation fee for new members is $100 and annual dues are $125.  A spouse of any member shall be admitted to membership in the club upon payment of the fees, dues, and assessment for the year of election to membership.

Membership Perks

In addition to socializing with a fun group of people who enjoy boating, the Lexington Yacht Club is affiliated with the Yachting Club of America, which has reciprocity with Yacht Clubs in the United States.  This perk has allowed members to gain entry into some exclusive Yacht Clubs while traveling, including the Lahaina Yacht Club in beautiful Maui which displays our club burgee!  The club Treasurer can provide members with a listing of these clubs.

Also, club members can join BOATU.S. or renew their membership at a discounted rate of $15.  The club Treasurer can provide members with information on how to join or renew membership.
